Linda is a Kamilaroi and Dharug woman currently living in Darwin, NT on Larrakia Land. Linda uses acrylic paints and natural ochres to communicate concepts and stories grounded in gamily, life, and cultural experience as a First Nations woman. Linda has been painting for over 35 years and has exhibited her artwork throughout Australia, Europe and the United States.

Seven Sisters is a celebration of the femininity and strength that the artist has seen across generations of women in her family. The dots and circles represent these women and their ties to each other.

The subtle spine-like pattern that weaves across the painting mirrors the artist and her family's understanding that these women are the backbone of their family and communities.
